When to Start the Admission Process
Most Indian schools open admissions between October and February. Starting early gives you time to research, visit campuses, and prepare documents.
Step 1: Shortlist Schools by Board
Decide between CBSE, ICSE, IB, or State Board. Each has different teaching styles and assessment methods. Use our school finder to filter by board and city.
Step 2: Check Admission Criteria
Some schools require entrance tests, while others use a lottery system. Check age requirements, sibling quotas, and alumni preferences.
Step 3: Prepare Documents
- Birth certificate
- Previous school report cards
- Transfer certificate
- Address proof
- Passport-sized photos
- Medical fitness certificate
Step 4: Attend Open Houses and Interviews
Many schools conduct parent and child interviews. Be prepared to discuss your child’s interests and why you chose that particular school.
Step 5: Submit Applications Early
Don’t wait until the deadline. Early applications often get priority consideration. Use our admission form to submit inquiries to multiple schools at once.
After Admission: What’s Next?
Once admitted, pay the fee, buy the uniform and books, and attend orientation. Congratulations!
